URALEXPOSTONE 2014
The 5th International Specialized Exhibition "UralExpoStone 2014: production, processing and utilization of natural stone" was held in 18 - 21 March, 2014. The exhibition was held in the International Exhibition Center "Ekaterinburg - EXPO."
The exhibition was organized by the Association of stone industry enterprises "Center Stone" with the participation of Ural State Mining University.
The event was supported by the Government of Sverdlovsk region and the Union of construction enterprises of Sverdlovsk region.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by S. Sarapulov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk region, N. Kosarev, rector of the Ural State Mining University, and Y. Chumerin, director of the Construction enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region Union.
The 776 sq.m. exhibition area of UralExpoStone 2014 was attended by 30 organizations from different Russian regions and other countries. They demonstrated exposure in the field of production, processing and utilization of natural stone.
643 experts from different regions of Russia (Siberia, the Volga region, the Urals, the Trans-Urals, from the Central, North-Western, Southern Federal District), and from other countries: Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Kazakhstan registered as visitors. Actually we had a lot more visitors, as the exhibition of construction and interior BuildUral, carried out at the same time and in the same hall with the exhibition UralExpoStone 2014, and 2974 visitors from different organizations of the construction industry were registered there.
During the preparation for the exhibition we’ve made a mass e-mailing to addresses of the specialized companies in Russia and other countries.Promotional posters and information about the Association and the exhibition were placed on exhibition sites of such events as Total Expo, General Expo, Expo Globus and others. Sharing advertising materials had been promoted with exhibition organizations of the world and specialized magazines of stone industry.Also we’ve made a lot of inviting phone calls to deliver information to everyone who may concern.Our representative office in Moscow "Company ALMIR" and "Info-Stone" send invitations and advertising materials. Delegation of the Association took part in the International Exhibitions of stone industry in China, India and Italy.Advertising posters of the exhibition UralExpoStone 2014 were placed on the stands of the Association at these events.
On the Association's website www.asck.ru, which enjoys increasing popularity among specialists from different countries, advertising information was posted, as well as advertising page devoted to the exhibition UralExpoStone 2014 was printed in each issue of the magazine "Stone around us" in 2013 - 2014. The magazine was in a high demand at all events organized by our Association.
Posters and television screens in the center of Ekaterinburg were used in promotional purposes.
Free bus route was launched from the metro station "Botanicheskaya" for the convenience of visitors. He shuttled daily to the exhibition center every 30 minutes.
Number of contracts and agreements with the companies-partners were concluded for the selection of exhibitors. For example, a contract to work together to prepare for the exhibition was awarded to “EXPO DESIGN INTERNATIONAL” (Turkey), a cooperation agreement was signed with the company "Exponent" (St. Petersburg). Negotiations about working together to prepare for the exhibition in 2015 were held with the Chinese companies of similar profile.

1. 18th March, the Seminar "Modern diamond segments for stone processing", the organizer: "Stone-Service-Ural", Ekaterinburg.
2. 19th March, the Meeting of the Executive Board of the Association.
3. 19th March, the Annual general meeting of the Association "Center Stone"
4. 20th March, the Conference "Theory and practice of production, processing and utilization of natural stone", the organizer: South Ural training center "Extracting and processing of natural stone" of Magnitogorsk State Technical University.
5. 20th March, the Seminar about using diamond tools for stone processing, the organizer: the "Company ALMIR", Moscow.
6. 21st March, the Seminar "Chemistry stone improve", the organizer: "Stone-Service-Ural" Ekaterinburg.
7. 21st March, Results of professional competition of architects and designers, "Stone in Architecture"
8. 21st March, Ceremonial presentation of diplomas "For great contribution to the development of Russian stone industry" to the best workers of the enterprises - members of the Association "Center Stone".
9. 21st March, The closing ceremony of the exhibition with the award of diplomas and souvenirs.
